Andre Stevens Named 40 Under 40 Honoree

Daugherty Business Solutions Engagement Manager Andre Stevens has been selected as a St. Louis Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. This annual award recognizes the best and brightest St. Louis has to offer by highlighting the business success and community outreach efforts of each member of the class.

Since joining Daugherty in June 2011, Andre has made a definite impact. In his first three years, he moved from Consultant to Senior Consultant to Team Manager. His advancement at Daugherty, paired with his thought leadership in the IT program management space, caught the attention of the St. Louis American. The publication selected him as a Young Leader award recipient in February of 2016. Later that year Andre moved forward in his career again, taking on his current role of Engagement Manager for one of Daugherty Business Solutions’ largest accounts in the St. Louis market.

Andre is an active member of the Project Management Institute chapter in St. Louis. He is dedicated to sharing his professional expertise and using the lessons he has learned to help those around him grow in their careers as well.

Andre is actively involved in the St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative. He was a member of the Cohort 10 group that completed the Initiative’s Fellows Program in 2016. After completing this program, Andre went to Daugherty’s leadership team to present the great opportunity that this fellowship would offer to his peers. Because of his hard work bringing this initiative into the organization, Daugherty has decided to invest in the program and is dedicated to working on ensuring that at least one, if not more, of their employees are actively involved in the Initiative’s Fellows Program annually.

Andre is also actively engaged in his community. He is on the board of the Father’s Support Center, as well as the Board of the Young Professionals for the St. Louis Area Food Bank. He volunteers with the United Way of Greater St. Louis as a part of the Leadership Giving program. More specifically, he is a part of the Charmaine Chapman Leadership Society, a philanthropic program for African Americans in the region. Andre also serves as a mentor for the University of Missouri – St. Louis Black Business Student Association.

Most recently, Andre was selected by the Regional Business Council’s Professionals Network 2017-2018 Leadership 100 Cohort. Leadership 100 was founded on the principle of improving regional workplace diversity by developing talented, young business leaders so their contributions to their employers, their community and the region as a whole could be fully realize and appreciated.

The 2018 class of St. Louis Business Journal 40 Under 40 honorees were invited to attend a celebratory banquet on February 22, 2018, at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. Andre and members of the Daugherty leadership team were in attendance.
