Senior Java Application Architect

We are currently seeking Senior Java Application Architects. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects, and to coordinate the work of others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading Architectural initiatives.
  • Mentoring team members and customers in software engineering and architectural best practices.
  • Technology leader for teams of 3 to 5 people.
  • Creating software architectural specifications.
  • Developing new or maintain existing programs based on specifications.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining unit tests of programs.
  • Key contributor in project planning, as well as design and maintenance of enterprise architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • More than 6 years experience in relevant technologies, including working on large scale web application development.
  • Good knowledge of and experience with user interface design, visual design elements, web technologies and development methodologies.
  • Solid foundation in design patterns and UML.
  • Solid foundation in Agile methodologies.
  • Good knowledge in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming.
  • Experience using code versioning system.
  • Solid working knowledge of:
•  Java, J2EE 5, JMS, EJB3, JSF, Facelets and JDBC
•  HTML, DHTML, XSLT, XML and JavaScript
• AJAX
• BPM
• SOA
• Oracle and SQL
• Experience with industry framework (Struts, Spring)
• ORM tools or equivalent exp. (Hibernate, iBATIS)
