Business Intelligence Project Managers
Daugherty Business Solutions is looking
for Business Intelligence (BI) Project Managers who want to build
their careers as key members of a growing, successful company.
The Daugherty BI Project Manager typically has a MBA and/or B.S.
in Engineering or Computer Science and 7-10 years experience as a
top-level technical expert capable of identifying the components of
an organization’s information technology environment and defining
its relationship to the mission of the organization.
He or She oversees various system projects of a highly complex
nature and is responsible for the project from the original concept
through final implementation. This role is also responsible for
defining project scope and objectives, developing work plans,
schedules, estimates, resource plan and status reports. Must be able
to effectively communicate project expectations, project goals and
scope to the team and manage the product quality by ensuring project
control and development methods are followed, with software
development standards being met. This individual will be familiar
with project roles and definition of each team member in order to
effectively manage the activities of the team. Project team may
consist of 6-20 people. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
are essential.
The key areas of expertise will be within:
- Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Portals and Content
Management
- Data Analysis, Reporting Analysis, Business Process Analysis
- Project and Personnel Management, Portfolio Management,
Problem Management, Financial Reporting and Budgeting
- Functional Process Knowledge (Sales, Back Office, Customer
Service, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Industry Knowledge (e.g. Retail, Manufacturing,
Communications, Financial Services)
- Presentation Skills, Assessment Skills, Facilitation Skills,
Client Facing (Business, Tech C, V – Level)
