NewsDaugherty Business Solutions Opens Dallas OfficeCody Bateman Named Regional Delivery Manager for Dallas Branch ST. LOUIS, MO – May 8, 2008– Daugherty Business Solutions, a premier technology consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, announces the opening of a fifth regional office. The new office will be located in Dallas, TX. Cody Bateman has been named the Regional Delivery Manager for the Dallas branch. The Dallas office is part of a deliberate expansion plan by Daugherty Business Solutions. “Our decision to expand is the next step in our continuing growth. Over the past 23 years, we’ve opened branches in St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, and Minneapolis. We are continuing to establish a presence in other regions in order to better serve companies in those areas and provide more convenient infrastructure for our consulting teams,” said Ron Daugherty, CEO and president of Daugherty Business Solutions. “With Cody’s strong ties to the Dallas community and his leadership skills, we have a solid foundation in place and expect a lot of growth in the coming year.” Bateman is a twenty year industry veteran with a proven track record of bringing thought leadership and successful results to the Fortune 100. His client experience spans many industries including financial services, technology, business services, telecommunications, retail and federal government. He has advised numerous executive teams in the areas of Innovation, Business Strategy and Operations Improvement (BPR). Bateman received his Global Executive MBA from Duke University and his B.S. from Texas A&M University in Computer Science. He holds professional certifications in Project Management, Business Continuity, Sarbanes-Oxley, and is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He is currently the President of the Dallas Business Club and sits on the board of directors for two corporations. “One of the key challenges most companies face today is that business and IT are not always aligned. Daugherty has a 23 year history of bridging that gap. It is one of the things that drew me to this organization. I find it very fulfilling to enable clients to use information to make decisions that will impact their position in their markets,” said Bateman. “Our consultant population averages about 10 years of experience. Combining that experience with our ability to be agile in response to our client’s priorities, pain points and spending habits really allows us to drive impact and help our clients out-position their competition, reduce overhead and increase workflow. There’s definitely a need in the DFW Metroplex for a local delivery partner of this caliber and I’m excited for what the future holds.” The company expects the branch to grow to 15 employees by the end of 2008 and is currently hiring technical architects experienced with mobile computing and business intelligence solutions. The new office is located in the Galleria Tower Office Park at 13455 Noel Rd., Suite 1000, Dallas, TX 75240.
